Service Description
Schedule - Classes start at 9:00AM and end at 6:00pm. There will be a 10 min break every hour and a 30 min break for lunch. Students can bring their own food or order out. Some refreshments will be provided. This course is rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. Location - The classroom portion of the course will be held in Terryville CT. After the classroom portion of the course is complete, we will travel to Bethlehem CT for the shooting qualification. Fee - $100.00 which covers your NRA student packet, ammunition, firearm use, targets and range time for your qualification. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to register for the course. You will be allowed to reschedule twice. If the course is cancelled, you will be offered a full refund or the option to attend a future course. We accept cash, check, Cash App and Venmo. Upon completion - You will have the knowledge, skills and attitude to safely own and operate firearms. You will receive a certificate of completion used to obtain your pistol permit, a copy of the NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program and a NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Guide. DRUGS/ALCOHOL- Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited. Being under the influence while using firearms is Dangerous and Illegal. Anyone suspected of breaking this rule will be asked to leave. Rules and responsibilities for attending this course- Safety is our first priority, if we feel anyone is acting in an unsafe manor, we will ask them to leave. Firearms are neither safe nor unsafe. it is all of our responsibility to handle them in a safe and appropriate manor. Keep all firearms pointed in a safe direction, at all times. Keep your finger off the trigger, until ready to fire.
